Origin of variety
Floral Fragrance Souchong tea leaves are picked and made on sunny days. After traditional tea making techniques by tea makers, the fermentation time can last up to about 6 hours.
As a result, tea is fully transformed into a complex floral and fruity aroma, creating a cup of natural floral fragrance of Lapsang Souchong. When you smell the fragrance, you will feel like you are savoring a camellia in the mountains. After entering the mouth, the refreshing and fragrant coolness will flow in your throat. The entire process of drinking tea leaves an endless aftertaste, full of fun and surprising exploration.

Discover the Floral Side of Lapsang Souchong
This floral Tongmu Souchong shows a modern, unsmoked expression of Zhengshan Xiaozhong. Its aroma comes from the mountain-grown leaves and careful black-tea processing rather than pine smoke.
Read our Lapsang Souchong taste guide to see why Tongmu black tea can range from floral and honey-like to richly smoky. To learn more about the mountain origin behind these styles, explore our Tongmu field story with fourth-generation tea maker Wen Changjing.
