Origin of variety
Shoumei tea grows in an old tea forest that has been left untouched for years. Far from the hustle and bustle of the world, the tea trees coexist with towering ancient trees and lush vegetation. The soil here is rich in organic matter, and the large temperature difference between day and night allows the tea trees to grow freely in their natural environment. After years of tempering, they develop a unique wild charm.
It is made using a traditional pure sun-drying process. The fresh leaves are evenly spread on bamboo plaques, where the gentle sunlight awakens every trace of aroma and flavor in the tea, preserving the tea’s natural characteristics to the greatest extent. After brewing, the rich herbal fragrance blends with the sweet floral aroma, with a steady and long-lasting scent. The tea liquid is a bright golden yellow, with a mellow and full-bodied taste that is smooth to the palate.
