Variety: Tongmu Lapsang Souchong, Tongmu Floral Fragrance Souchong, Tongmu Smoked Souchong Origin: Tongmu, Wuyi Mountain, Fujian, China Producer: Inheritor of the Fourth Generation of Black Tea, Wen Changjing. Harvested year: 2024 Box: 45g
Origin of variety
Tongmu in Wuyi Mountain, China, is the birthplace of world – renowned black tea. This Mythos of Deep – Wuyi Tongmu Mountain Black Tea Combo brings together Lapsang Souchong, Floral Scented Souchong, and Smoked Souchong from the depths of Tongmu Pass. Thanks to different production techniques, each tea exudes its own natural aroma and flavor.
Tongmu Lapsang Souchong has a fragrant aroma with multiple layers. At first sniff, there’s an elegant floral scent, as if you’re in a forest secret realm. A closer smell reveals a faint honey and baking aroma. The tea liquid is rich and mellow when sipped, with the unique longan – soup flavor slowly releasing, tasting fresh, sweet, and mellow, leaving a long aftertaste.
Floral Scented Souchong, based on the traditional Lapsang Souchong process, emphasizes the floral aroma. The tea is light and smooth, with the floral scent blooming in your mouth. The flavor is as sweet and refreshing as floral honey, without any bitterness, making you feel pleasant and relaxed.
Tongmu Smoked Souchong has a strong smoky flavor. When you take a sip, the faint smoky aroma is like the winter village cooking smoke, simple, warm, and highly recognizable. As the tea soup enters your mouth, the smoky flavor blends with the rich tea taste, presenting a strong and unique flavor, bold yet elegant.
