BRAND STORY
Meet Teaviews

| Chinese tea, understood gently. Rooted in origin — shaped for modern life. |

Tea does not need to feel distant or complicated.
It can simply become part of how a day begins or how an evening slows down.

Charlotte

FOUNDER

Chinese tea carries centuries of craft and landscape,
yet for many drinkers today it can feel difficult to approach.

Teaviews grew out of years spent learning in the tea mountains of Wuyi,
where tea is part of everyday life —
brewed between conversations, after meals,
and during quiet moments of work.

Through meeting drinkers from different countries and backgrounds,
one insight gradually became clear:
the most meaningful tea is not always the rarest one,
but the one that fits the drinker.

At Teaviews, we remain faithful to the character of tea at its origin —
while selecting teas that can naturally adapt
to different tastes, brewing styles,
and ways of drinking across cultures.

Today we work with tea makers in Wuyi, Tongmu,
and other traditional regions,
sharing teas that stay rooted in place
yet feel welcoming in many different lives.

Because the best tea is often not the one that impresses the most,

but the one you return to.

MISSION

How We Think About Tea

Teaviews Chinese tea set with gaiwan, tea leaves, and branded packaging on an outdoor table, showing tea adapted for modern everyday life.
A quiet moment of drinking Chinese tea after a meal, creating a simple daily ritual of comfort and ease.

Faithful to Origin

We respect how tea expresses its mountain, season, and craft.

Selection begins with listening to the character of the leaf.

Balanced in Experience

Great tea should feel steady and approachable in daily life.

We look for clarity of aroma without overwhelming bitterness.

Adapted Across Cultures

Tea travels through different tastes, brewing styles, and rhythms.

We choose teas that remain authentic while welcoming diversity.

Quiet Ritual, Real Life

Tea does not belong only to ceremonies.

It lives in workdays, conversations, and personal pauses.

These perspectives guide how every tea enters Teaviews — from mountain tasting to everyday brewing.

SELECTIONS

How We Select Our Teas

At Teaviews, teas are not chosen only for rarity or market popularity.

We look for teas that remain true to their place of origin while feeling natural in modern daily routines.

Many selections first appeared during long tasting sessions, tea gatherings, and quiet conversations with drinkers.

Over time, a collection gradually formed around teas that offer:

• stable flavor expression

• comfortable body response

• adaptable brewing behavior

• meaningful cultural roots

Today this includes mineral-structured Wuyi rock teas, steady and warming Tongmu black teas, gentle forest-grown white teas, and traditionally scented jasmine teas.

Alongside tea, we curate refined and functional teaware to support calm and consistent brewing experiences.

Minor Tea Variety Protection Plan:
Protecting Tea Diversity

Teaviews Minor Tea Variety Protection Plan supporting rare tea cultivars and small tea varieties

At Teaviews, we care not only about the mainstream but also about the rare and nearly forgotten.

Some teas, though rich in character and rooted in unique terroirs,

are slowly disappearing due to limited production or lack of market recognition.

Yet we believe that the diversity of tea itself is a cultural treasure worth preserving.

SELECTIONS

Learning From the Hands Behind the Tea

Over the years, our understanding of tea has been shaped not only by landscapes, but by the people who work quietly within them.

These long-term relationships allow us to learn directly from the hands that shape the tea.

In Wuyi and Tongmu, tea is not simply produced — it is practiced as a lifelong craft.

Through repeated visits, shared tastings, and long conversations, we gradually learned to recognize how fire, leaf, and time come together.

These relationships continue to influence how Teaviews selects tea today.

Liu Dexi

Liu Dexi has spent decades refining the charcoal roasting tradition of Wuyi rock tea.

Watching his slow and attentive process changed how we understand balance in flavor — not as intensity, but as harmony shaped through time.

Growing up in Tongmu’s pine forests, Wen Changjing continues a family lineage of traditional black tea making.

Her approach to smoke and warmth revealed to us how tea can carry both strength and gentleness at once.

From these teachers and friends, we continue to learn that tea is not a fixed product,

but a living dialogue between people, place, and time.

This understanding shapes every tea we share.

Where Tea Meets People

Relaxed Tea Gathering
Shared Tea Gathering
Tea Conversation

Beyond origin and craftsmanship,
tea becomes meaningful when it is shared.

Over the years, we have hosted and joined
small tea gatherings with drinkers
from different cultures, backgrounds,
and daily rhythms.

These encounters continue to shape
how we select teas —
not only for their character,
but for how naturally they settle into real lives.

Sometimes tea invites conversation.
Sometimes it asks only for quiet presence.
Both belong to the journey.
